frequently asked questions

How does PTFE coating enhance the process of ironing clothes?

Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) coatings with its non-stick properties, and temperature resistance gives a smooth ironing experience for clothes.

How can I prolong the lifespan of my fabric care appliances?

When it comes to fabric care appliances like irons, make sure to use distilled water and empty the water reservoir in case of steam irons, and wipe dirt from the soleplate for all irons.

What is the difference between steam and dry iron?

Steam irons come with additional features such as water tanks, customized water spray, and steam burst functions, unlike dry irons.

Can I use Steam Irons for all kind of clothing?

Ideally, the intensity of steam varies according to the fabric type. You can refer to the manual to know about them in detail.

Why Choose IVAS Irons?

One should choose IVAS Irons for their PTFE Non-Stick Coating, which ensures a smooth glide across clothes. They also feature a 360-degree swivel cord for easy movement in dry irons and come with a 2-year warranty period.

What’s the difference between a dry iron and a steam iron?

*Dry iron uses heat and pressure only.

*Steam iron emits steam through holes to soften fabrics and remove wrinkles faster.

Which iron is better: dry or steam?

Steam irons are more effective for most fabrics and tough creases, while dry irons are simpler and ideal for delicate or lightweight clothes.

Can I use tap water in a steam iron?

In most cases, yes, but in areas with hard water, use distilled or demineralized water to avoid scale buildup.

Why is my steam iron leaking water?

This can happen if the iron isn’t hot enough before steaming, or if overfilled. Ensure proper temperature and avoid using steam at low heat.
